The Leonard Paul Egee Memorial Trophy
Greatest Participation of Juniors
The Leonard Paul Egee Memorial Trophy Will be presented to the active member1 Club fostering the greatest participation of juniors in yacht racing on Barnegat Bay.
The award is based on the number of junior2 "Qualifiers" from each active member1 in the BBYRA Championship series. In the event of a tie, the number of boats registered by juniors from each active member will be used to break the tie.
In the event the trophy is not awarded for two consecutive years, ownership of the trophy shall revert to the donor if living, or the donor's heirs if the donor is deceased.
The Original Trophy was replaced by a new trophy in 2011.
- The term active member as used in this deed of gift refers to Article Three Section 1. a) of BBYRA's By-Laws
- The term junior and/or juniors as used in this deed of gift shall refer to the age relating in any way to juniors as specified annually in BBYRA's Notice of Race and/or Racing Rules of the Barnegat Bay Yacht Racing.
