2000 Championship Series
- Age Limit - A Contestant will be considered eligible when his or her age-limit birthday will not have been reached on the last day of the calendar year.
- Laser Radial Junior - 17 years and under
- Laser Master - 45 years older
- Club 420 - 21 years and under; cannot turn 22 in the calendar year; Crew No age limit
- Flying scot "challenger Division" - open to any flying scot competitor not qualifying in top ten during the preceding year
